St Joseph’s College continues to try to reduce single use plastic in our school. We encourage pupils to bring water to school in refill bottles and in addition we are starting our new campaign to help reduce the single-use face mask waste caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Frontline medical staff rely on disposable masks to help care for their many patients but most of us can keep ourselves and our families safe by wearing reusable masks and in turn do our bit to reduce plastic waste.

To encourage this the school will have reusable masks available for purchase at £2 each.
